My Story

I began my nutrition journey and began applying the knowledge to all of my family. I could see that if certain foods brought harm to my son then certain foods could support healing. My son is now a strong young man. His reactions to foods have dramatically decreased. He is now is a keen footballer. And our life as a family has now been transformed.

Since qualifying, I work mainly with neuro diversity and atopic conditions. I am a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and registered with The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

Teaching my children how to nurture themselves positively with beneficial nutrition and lifestyle choices is a main goal for me as a mother; I thrive on seeing the amazing results every day.

I am a mum to 3 beautiful children. My eldest son was admitted to hospital at 8 weeks with severe infected eczema. He then developed bronchiolitis and then asthma with severe multiple allergies and anaphylaxis. He had a total of 19 hospital admissions in his first 2 years, the lowest point being his admission into intensive care. I stared at my son and felt utterly helpless and powerless. I felt like a terrible mother; my life was falling apart; I felt my grief took me away from caring for my other family members but I didn’t know what I could do to make things better. It was at this point I turned to look for other options. I made a decision to study nutrition for 3 years with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
